Autism Funding

We’ve successfully helped hundreds of families across Canada utilize their autism funding to bring a Barumba Play Couch into their home.

We are an approved vendor under British Columbia’s Autism Funding Program. This means you may be able to receive a Barumba Play Couch using your annual funding allocation. 

Our 11-piece play couch is an ideal tool for kids to support their physical and sensory play, their motor skill development, and imaginative exploration.

A Play Couch helps kids engage in problem solving and learn about building structures. Our Play Couch promotes fun family interaction and fosters learning and communication. 

The process is simple:

1. Email us at hello@barumbaplay.com to request a quote for your preferred color/items. Be sure to include all your details including name, AFU participant's name, shipping address, phone number.

2. Your provider will need to complete a Justification for Equipment form.
   

3. Once the family/ therapist receives the funding approval, send us your AFP number.

4. We invoice the BC’s Autism Funding Unit (AFU).

5. We ship your new Barumba Play Couch — at no out-of-pocket cost to the family.
