FABRIC

Exterior fabric: Microsuede is a soft velvet-like fabric that is low-maintenance and family friendly. It is washable, doesn't wrinkle and forgiving with stains.
Interior liner: 50% Polyester/50% Polyurethane. The liner feels a bit like rain pants, which is why it does such a good job of keeping liquid and moisture away from the foam.
Oeko-Tex® certified

FOAM

CertiPUR-US® certified polyurethane foam which is made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP and TCEP flame retardants, heavy metals, mercury and lead, formaldehyde, phthalates regulated by the CPSC, and is low VOC emissions (less than 0.5 parts per million).
1.8 density and 50 ILD on all pieces so all the pieces are strong enough for building

CARE

Wash covers in cold water with zippers closed. Hang to dry with zippers opened. Dries overnight.
Wash dark colors before first use to prevent color transfer.
Vacuum or use lint brush as needed.
For stains that can't be cleaned with soap, rubbing alcohol works wonders. Helpful for when the kids decide to use pen or put stickers on your play couch.

While no frame makes our play couch easy to move around, placing it against the wall is best for using as a couch.

There are lots of play couches on the market these days, here is what makes us special.

We have designed our play couch to feature smaller-shaped foam pieces which are designed for kids to do the building. Not just the parents building while kids watch and wait. When play couches are mostly big pieces of foam, little ones cannot move them around themselves and get the benefits of bringing their creations to life and developing coordination and strength.
Multiple kids can play together with so many pieces to go around. Other play couches usually require one per child.
Handles on the sides of the playmat and not hidden in the middle so kids can move the big piece themselves.
Equal strength foam on all pieces so no mushy pieces that are useless for building.
With 11 pieces, one play couch is all your need. Most brands come with 4 pieces and families buy 2-4 of them. It becomes more expensive and way more space needed.
We make them 10 minutes from our office so we have a close relationship with our foam producer and are on the manufacturing floor.
We ship with the covers inside the foam roll. Other brands have the covers on the foam already but that means they get permanment wrinkles from being compressed for shipping.
We make them regularly in small batches so they are not sitting rolled up for months on a shipping container. This means they puff up right away and don't take days to be useable upon unboxing.
